Smooth Image Hoover Effects For Framer

This is a small set of creative image hover styles I put together for Framer. I wanted something that felt smooth and modern, but also super easy to use. Just drop in your image, pick a style, and you're good to go.

There are 6 built-in effects, each one gives your image a unique motion or distortion when someone hovers over it. You can tweak the speed, intensity, corners, and shadows to match your layout. No code needed.

What’s included

6 Hover Styles
Each one has its own personality:

• Wavy Distort – A soft ripple effect, like waves through the image.

• RGB Split – A slight color shift that gives a subtle glitch vibe.

• Liquid Melt – Makes your image flow and drip like liquid.

• Buttery Smooth – Clean, soft movement that just feels nice.

• Burning Fire – Wavy and sharp, like heat distortion.

• RGB Split (Alt) – A second RGB variation for a slightly different look.

Easy Custom Controls

• Adjust how strong the effect feels (intensity).

• Control how fast the hover animation plays.

• Set corner roundness and add shadow depth.

• Choose how the animation eases in and out.
